  • Tastings

• Rumiano Cheese Company, Dry Monterey Jack: An iconic California cheese developed by the Rumiano family nearly 100 years ago. Fourth-generation family members continue to produce this award-winning Monterey Jack cheese using the same labor-intensive methods of hand-rolling and aging each wheel in the same cellars that were hand-dug by their great-great-grandparents so long ago. This nutty, mild cow’s milk cheese is coated in a mixture of cacao and black peppercorn and aged 6-9 months in Rumiano’s century-old, hand-dug cellar in Northern California.

• Cypress Grove, Sweet Dreams: Sweet dreams are made of cheese - pillowy-soft fresh goat cheese infused with warm vanilla bean and brown sugar. This creamy spreadable cheese features a subtle tang with a hint of deep molasses and a touch of salt. You’ll want to dip, slather and stir this into just about everything.

• Rustic Bakery, Vanilla Shortbread Cookies: From their artisan bakery in Marin County, just over the Golden Gate Bridge, Rustic Bakery produces these sophisticated and delicious handmade organic cookies with the smooth flavor of Madagascar vanilla bean. Simple, classic, buttery, delightful. These shortbreads are so much more than a sweet vessel for creamy goat cheese.

• Dick Taylor Craft Chocolate, Peppermint Drinking Chocolate: A rich and velvety European style drinking chocolate mixed with crushed pieces of natural peppermint candy. Handcrafted from ethically-sourced cacao beans in a small factory in Northern California.

• Charlene Abinante, Board at Home Ceramic Pottery Mug: One-of-a-kind pottery mug handmade by local Chico artist Charlene Abinante.

As these handcrafted products are available in limited quantities, weights may vary slightly and we may occasionally have to make substitutions with similar items of equal quality.
